 For New Jersey, we especially enjoyed reading about baseball, listening to some Frank Sinatra tunes, and reading poems by William Carlos Williams.

Knobbed Whelks on the Jersey Shore

For New Jersey the kids decided to depict knobbed whelks (the official state shell!) on the Jersey Shore. Primarily made using colored sharpie and oil pastel, with water color for the water.
