For Washington we especially enjoyed learning about the National Parks (Mount Rainier, North Cascades, and Olympic), and the wildlife and environment of the area.

The kids decided to depict Olympic National Park for Washington State. Mostly used oil pastels, along with some colored sharpie (outlines) and watercolor (sky, and background to the meadow).
